Senior Year!
8 09 2008When people ask me what it feels like to be a senior, and effectively one in her second semester, the question generally makes me uneasy. On the one hand, I’m stupidly excited to see what the next steps are going to be– where I am going to end up, what I will be doing, that kind of thing. On the other hand, I am almost just as scared, anxious, and nervous about it. I like this stuff– the process of going to class, reading books and turning in assignments. The scenery is sweet, and generally there’s not much to worry about.
On the brink of this…transitional period, its just, unnerving. I need some antacid.
Career fair is this Tuesday! (My stomach, the butterflies!)

Silly kids
17 09 2008Here is a particularly amusing comment I came across today on a web forum, the comments were mostly about the Facebook redesign.
“if you guys don’t put us back on our old face book we are taking it to the papers and the news not just me everyone of my friends said to and my mom all ready wrote the CEO of the company.”
Aside from how cute it is that someone (probably pretty young) would go all the way to all sorts of web forums to threaten Facebook for their unjustly forceful application of (gasp!) the NEW Facebook…what can be so bad about the redesign that you’d sic your MOM on them?
Facebook, be scared. Be very, very scared.
