This was a post sitting in my unpublished drafts for about a month now—might as well publish it, no use in letting it go to waste…
An update, a la the forgotten art of playwrights.
Microsoft says: “Forget it Yahoo, we are like, so over you.”
Yahoo’s Yang: –Twiddles thumbs– “Uh…we didn’t want you anyway! Cup half full!”
Entire Market: Scratches collective head.

Finals time has descended, and I have not updated in too long of a time. Its not because I don’t love you, internet. Au contraire, I love you dearly– its just that school+ university job+internet job+ tests+ home life is so incredibly time consuming, but in the best way!
This summer I will not be returning to New York city to work (and to home) as I always have– this summer there is a drastic change of atmosphere, environment, and life in general as I up and move across the country to participate in an internship with one of the world’s foremost automobile manufacturers in their corporate headquarters in southern California. The internship is already incredibly exciting– they worked out all of our intern details for us, and that makes me feel warm and cozy inside. Living arrangements, airfare, and yes, even a car lease are worked out in some way or another and I pretty much titter with excitement everytime I think about it.
I also get nervous though, which I think is a normal response– though I have lived on my own for a good amount of time, and considerably successfully, at that, this is the first time I will be moving across the entire country, like time-difference inducing even! I will miss my folks and I hope that they understand that I love them with my entire heart no matter where I’m located or what time it is over there. Likewise I will more or less be on my own from the beginning, save for one other intern who goes to school with me that I have met. I have faith and confidence though, and I know I can do it.
